Hi friends!
The clock ticked 8:00 AM. No school. No early morning wakeup.
No bus horn. No mom shouting. Most of all No early breakfast. No worry.
That Sunday morning rounding on the whole bed as if we are
the emperors; staying in the hugs of mom or a pillow; and from the other side, dad
calling us to get up and therefore we resisting his calls for a 70% sleep.
And dad slowly lifting us in to his hugs from the bed; start
juggling us to brush. Successfully making the sleep disappear…!
Going out on dad’s scooter after a quick breakfast with the
same night dress without getting to know the actual reason behind the scooter
safari.
There you go!!!! The biggest mattered thing when we were
kids…
Yes, THE HAIRCUT!!! J
Unable to escape and with a powerful hinge like seating in
the saloon… with tears in eyes and with a great impatience that dad is not
listening to our cries; looking our self into the mirror and at the hair being
cut... dripping tears… closing the mouth as tight as you can… and with a big
frown… while dad holding our head tightly or sometimes simply sitting a side
reading the newspaper…
Sap sap sap sap… cling cling… ssss… sap sap sap …. The sound
of the scissors on one side and the sounds of our cries on the other side;
people in the shop staring at us smiling…
Yes I am sure no one can ever forget these beautiful silly
moments!!!
Well, I am away from my home town since a month and today I
got to go to a saloon where a 4-year old kid with his dad for a haircut drew my
complete attention; crying shouting; it reminded my past and I was one among
those kids who would do some war for a haircut. I just felt like sharing these
beautiful moments with all of my readers because many of you might have similar
experiences of your own or with your kids.
Good day J
Yours,
ArCsoFLiFe- Medha Chaitanya.
